Day 1: Seattle | Embark

Board a home for the next week near the foot of the famous Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. Prior to boarding, enjoy the robust and busy waterfront of Seattle with its many curiosities, museums, and other enjoyable events. Maybe take an underground tour, visit the iconic Space Needle, or stop by the original Starbucks. Whatever the event, Seattle's newly rebuilt waterfront will bring smiles. Get underway during cocktail hour to cruise the Seattle Harbor and head north to the inside passage of Canada.

Day 2: Gulf Islands and Nanaimo

Sleep during the recovery from travels or join the group on deck. This morning is relaxed as the cruise goes through the island-studded inside passage of Canada. Travel through the area known as the Gulf Islands where sea life might be spotted, passing many yachts en route to far-off places. Also, plan to get tuned up for the outdoors with kayak, skiff, paddle board, and snorkeling safety training before arriving at the customs port of Nanaimo after lunch. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity to enjoy the bustling town or take a kayak or skiff ride to Newcastle Provincial Marine Park just across from town. The cruise is underway at happy hour.

Day 3: Desolation Sound and Bute Inle

Take the morning beverage and get on deck for some fabulous scenery before breakfast as the cruise sails through Desolation Sound and into an eastern fjord. Today is about Bute Inlet fjord that goes deep inside the Canadian coastal mountain range. The entire day will be spent out on the launches, kayaks, paddle boards, and hikes. This place is a rare treat for all guests and crew.

Day 4: Jervis Inlet and Hotham Sound

Wake up to the clank of the anchor dropping before breakfast today. Once secure on the anchor, the crew sets up the boat for adventure. Today, opportunities exist for longer kayaks to the Harmony Islands and the famed waterfall from Friel Lake. Alternatively, guests can go ashore and examine oysters as the tide recedes. Typically, this area is incredibly quiet during the summer months and offers warmer water than other areas.Maybe take a swim? At happy hour, the cruise will get underway for an excursion to Holiday Passage, known for its amazing sunsets.

Day 5: Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands

Arrive in Friday Harbor early for US Customs. This quaint small town is situated on San Juan Island, making it a super place to visit with locals, take a bike ride, or rent a moped and explore the island. Depart during lunch to Stuart Island with opportunities for more outdoor activities and a possible hike to a lighthouse.

Day 6: Neah Bay, Home of the Makah Nation

Like a few places on the planet, remote, native, and beautiful. Nestled close to a protected sea and mountains, Neah Bay is a place to experience the native culture, and pristine environments, and make a claim to being at the most Northwestern point of the contiguous United States. Neah Bay is where offshore sailors often gather prior to heading to the open ocean. It was the final touch of land for UnCruise's owner Dan Blanchard when departing for three years from the USA to sail the Pacific. Today, there will be time to visit with locals, learn of culture, and visit nearby trails and parks.

Day 7: Olympic National Park and Port Angeles

Hike in Olympic National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—surrounded by rainforest, old-growth forest, and top of the world 360-degree views. The trek takes visitors across fields of sub-alpine flowers in warmer weather and snow-covered hills in the colder months. On a clear day, Canada can be seen across the Straits of Juan de Fuca. This evening, wrap up with a Farewell Dinner and slide show highlighting the week's adventures.

Day 8: Seattle | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Get up early and watch the bustling town come to life with commuter ferries, ships, and yacht traffic busy about their business. After breakfast, say adieu and recall all the joys of the travels together.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
