The story of UnCruise Adventures begins in 1996, when Alaska becomes the birthplace of the company and small yacht cruising pioneers a new way to explore the region. Starting with just one yacht, UnCruise Adventures grows into a fleet offering more ships, new destinations, and a wider range of itineraries while remaining committed to leaving the charted course and helping you experience the world more deeply. Innovation remains at the heart of every voyage, delivering memorable adventures in breathtaking destinations through immersive activities and authentic exploration. Operating from historic Fishermen's Terminal in Seattle, Washington, and Juneau, Alaska, UnCruise Adventures continues building on decades of experience to create meaningful travel experiences. The company's journey includes inaugural Columbia and Snake River cruises in 2003, new leadership under Captain Dan Blanchard and Tim Jacox in 2008, the introduction of voyages to the Galápagos Islands and Costa Rica/Panama in 2011, and a rebrand to UnCruise Adventures in 2012. In 2019, UnCruise Adventures sails its longest Alaska season, and in 2025, the company celebrates its 30th anniversary.
