Day 1: Tacoma, Washington

Arrive in Tacoma for a one-night stay in a city known for art, history, and culture. Walk through streets that combine historic buildings with modern design. Explore restaurants, specialty shops, and the Museum District featuring six major museums close together. Visit exhibits showcasing glasswork, classic cars, and important works of art.

Day 2: Day of Cruising | Embark

Start your Puget Sound cruise with clear views of Mount Rainier, the city skyline, and the Thea Foss Waterway. Watch busy marinas, working tugboats, and shoreline parks as you settle in on deck and take in the scenery.

Day 3: Anacortes, Washington

As the “Gateway to the San Juan Islands”, this charming town is truly a hidden gem. Day 4: Friday Harbor, Washington

In Friday Harbor, adventure awaits around every corner. Watch the emerald waters of the Salish Sea reveal the graceful dance of orcas, their dorsal fins slicing through the waves. Keep your eye out for one very special orca, Spirit, adopted by American Cruise Lines during the first Puget Sound voyage.

Explore the town's quaint streets, where colorful storefronts beckon with the promise of artisanal keepsakes and locally crafted delights. Lose yourself in the natural splendor of San Juan Island, whether kayaking along coastlines or hiking through ancient forests alive with the chatter of wildlife. The Whale Museum - Complimentary Excursion
Be treated to a short presentation before a guided walk to the museum. Among the exhibits are the real skeletons of whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea lions, and otters; models of killer whales and humpback whales; and a family tree of the resident orcas. Listen to the songs and calls of different marine mammals, including a phone booth in which you can "call" a whale.

Day 5: Cruising the San Juan Islands | Port Angeles, Washington

Upon arrival in Port Angeles, take a walking tour with the team to uncover the fascinating history and hidden stories of this centuries-old city, all while enjoying stunning views of the nearby Olympic National Park.

Dungeness River Nature Center & Sequim Museum – Complimentary Excursion

Day 6: Victoria, British Columbia | Port Angeles, Washington

On the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria, BC, exudes an old-world charm blended seamlessly with modern elegance. Explore the picturesque Inner Harbor, where the iconic Parliament Buildings stand proudly alongside the stately Fairmont Empress Hotel, its grand facade reflecting in the shimmering waters. Wander through the enchanting Butchart Gardens, a botanical wonderland boasting vibrant floral displays and serene landscapes.

Day 8: Poulsbo, Washington

USS Turner Joy Naval Destroyer Museum - Complimentary Excursion
This Navy Destroyer was commissioned in 1959, sailing its entire career in the Pacific. The USS Turner Joy participated extensively in the Vietnam War and was one of the principal ships involved in the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, an international confrontation that led to the United States engaging more directly in the Vietnam War.
