Day 1 Arrive Cairo
Your journey into wonder begins at Giza with a two-night stay. You’ll be able to soak up the magnificent view of the Great Pyramids right from your balcony.
Day 2 Giza
Be awed by the sheer magnitude of the Pyramids and visit the Solar Boat Museum housing the restored cedar wood barge dating back to 2500BC before marveling at the 20-meter limestone monolith of the Sphinx. This evening watch the laser light display and entertaining show at the Pyramids.
Day 3 Giza to Luxor

Fly to Luxor and relax in the beautiful gardens of your hotel. Discover the antiquities housed in the Luxor Museum followed by a walk through the colorful local markets.
Day 4 Luxor | Embark

Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and be astounded by the well-preserved, colorful hieroglyphics adorning the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. See the impressive monument to Queen Hatshepsut, then admire the well-preserved temple of Ramses III. Return to Luxor and embark on your luxurious private charter on board the boutique Sanctuary Sun Boat III and settle into your elegantly appointed cabin. Late afternoon tour the vast open-air temple complex of Karnak, and be awed by the enormity of the pillars as you walk through the impressive Hypostyle Hall.

Day 5 Cruise the Nile

Today travel to Dendera. Marvel at the vibrant colors of the hieroglyphics adorning the roof of Hathor’s temple before returning to Luxor and visiting the impressive Luxor temple. This evening’s entertainment will delight with the colors of the whirling dervishes and the mesmerizing moves of a Nubian dancing performance.
Day 6 Kom Ombo Temple

Follow the course of the ancient Pharaohs’ processions along the Nile as you cruise south where villages and majestic temples line the banks of the river against the backdrop of the desert. This afternoon explore Kom Ombo temple, perched high on the east bank and dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god. A fun night awaits on board with a lively and colorful Galabeyya party with Egyptian delicacies, music, and dancing.
Day 7 Aswan

Cruise south to reach charming Aswan, the home of the Nubian people. Discover the Osiris temple complex of Philae, then visit the stone quarries to learn about ancient carving techniques and see the enormous unfinished obelisk. A leisurely afternoon awaits as you savor your last moments on board and take a felucca cruise on the Nile. Tonight join the Captain and crew for a farewell Gala Dinner.
Day 8 Disembark | Aswan

Disembark the ship in Aswan, you will be ensconced in luxury during your stay where you can admire the sweeping views over the Nile from the comfort of your balcony.
Discover the history and famous faces of the hotel before picturing yourself as Agatha Christie, pen in hand, as you enjoy pre-dinner drinks at The Terrace, followed by an elegant dinner at restaurant 1902.

Day 9 Aswan to Cairo
Fly to Abu Simbel and visit one of Egypt’s most magnificent monuments, the enormous World Heritage-listed temples of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari, rescued from the rising waters of the Aswan Dam. Later, fly to bustling Cairo for your two-night stay.
Day 10 Cairo
Discover the priceless antiquities in the Egyptian Museum including the artifacts recovered from Tutankhamun’s tomb and a selection of Royal Mummies. This evening join your Tour Director for a farewell dinner.
Day 11 Cairo | Depart for Home
Say farewell as you transfer to Cairo airport.
