This exciting 8-day Alaska cruise takes you to the seaside ports of Sitka, Juneau, Petersburg, Kake, and more! Sail through narrow fjords to reach national parks and view incredible wildlife as you make your way through the Inside Passage.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Spend time exploring Sitka’s popular attractions: Sheldon Jackson Museum, Russian Bishop's house and St. Michael's Cathedral. Board a deluxe tour boat for an exploration of beautiful Sitka Sound. Home to marine mammals, Sitka Sound counts humpback and killer (orca) whales, sea otters, and Steller sea lions amongst the abundant wildlife.
A Glacier Bay National Park Service Ranger leads your programming and a Native Huna Tlingit interpretive naturalist will join you to reveal traditional ties to this ancient treasure.
Highlights of the scenic state capital include the Mendenhall Glacier, Mount Roberts Tram, and local shops and galleries. Depart Juneau to Colt Island and go ashore for an Alaskan salmon and king crab dinner at Orca Point Lodge. Enjoy the beautiful grounds, beach, marine life touch- tank, and a beachside bonfire.
Explore the full length of this ice-carved fjord, tracing the face of cliffs that rise 4,000 feet above the jade-colored sea. View the icy glacier face and seals up close from a Zodiac.
Enjoy exclusive Hobart Bay and your adventure base camp, outfitted with sea kayaks, small outboard driven Zego runabouts, and all-terrain vehicles. Enjoy hiking, wildlife-viewing, and relaxing campfires.
Petersburg is a fishing town established by Norwegian fishermen in the late 1800’s. At the Sons of Norway Hall, enjoy a Norwegian Folk Dance show performed by Petersburg’s children. Take a short walk to Eagle Park, explore Sing Lee Alley, or shop downtown.
Visit to the traditional Tlingit Indian Village of Kake includes a totem carving display, dance performance, the “World’s Tallest Totem,” and a tour of a salmon hatchery with a bear viewing platform.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

The holiday of a lifetime. The company is Alaksa-owned and thhat makes a big difference to the experineces you get i.e. meet genuine First Nations tribes people. The amount of wildlife was beyond my expectation, and seeing everything on sucha small, intimate boat made it even more spoecial and unique.

It was an outstanding, up-close, educational vacation of nature, culture, history, animals and geology! It was everything they promised! Binoculars were plentiful on the boat, but I'm glad I brought my own. Food was excellent. Rooms had black-out shades. Pack/wear multiple layers of clothing (I carried a small backpack when off the ship). Crew were delightful and very accommodating! Remember to jump FEET FIRST first when taking the optional polar plunge! Spend as much time outdoors as you are able and ENJOY!!!

I have travelled with Adventure Life previously and certainly eager to do it again. Kassandra made excellent and honest suggestions while taking the time to understand what was important to us.
