Travel companions come from many different types of relationships - significant others, siblings, or other nomad travelers, but most fascinating to me is traveling with your parents.
Traveling abroad (or even domestic) is a true test of how deep a relationship goes. You quickly find out what you’re willing to tolerate - how much snoring, sneezing, pointing, patience and love you have for someone. In the act of travel, your surroundings are constantly changing. The last time (or only time) you may have had this experience was the day you were born, when everything around you was unusual and unfamiliar.
Why not share this new and changing world with the one who brought you into it? I have traveled with my mother several times to Southeast Asia, but for Dad and I, this was a new experience. We haven’t spent more than one week together since I was 15 years old, so why not? I know that, deep down, my father is a courageous and curious man. I also knew that traveling with Adventure Life would make the experience a little less challenging, so it would be a great start to his international endeavors.
We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.

We had a great experience- they were very helpful in trip planning and making sure we got to do all the activities and see the places we wanted. There were some things we couldn't do/see due to the time of year being the rainy/low season and they steered us away from those. We had never been to Costa Rica before and it gave us a good overview of this lovely country.

My travel consultant went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly, everything from the flight reservations to the final booking.
