Voyage deep into and around the Svalbard Archipelago where Sven Lindblad and his team, on reconnaissance last March, were stunned by the beauty, the vistas of snow and ice, and the wonder of the changing light as the Spring sun mounts ever higher in the Arctic sky each day. Scan the icescapes for emerging bears, seals and other wildlife. Walk on a frozen sea. And capture it all with ace photographers. Been to Svalbard? Come see its even wilder season. And for Arctic ‘virgins,’ this is the purest Arctic experience possible.

Stroll among the famed Vigeland sculptures—hundreds of life-size human figures set in terraced Frogner Park. Depart Oslo on a charter flight, and enjoy breathtaking vistas en route to Longyearbyen. On arrival, visit the Svalbard Museum to learn the story of Svalbard and its context in Norway and the Arctic, from 17th-century whaling to modern mining, research and tourism. Then tour the Gallery Svalbard to view the permanent art and cultural collections as well as studios of local artists. Embark National Geographic Endurance, your base for the next six days.
Your travel in the archipelago is truly exploratory by design, and our exact day-to-day movements remains flexible, depending on local conditions. Take your Zodiacs to cruise among beautiful icebergs and even set foot on the frozen ice right off the ship. Take advantage of the incredible, ever-changing light and exceptional photographic conditions.

Jess H helped plan an incredible holiday to Costa Rica for us. She was great from the start, she really listened to what we wanted from the trip and took into account mobility issues by arranging different excursions. The whole planning process was easy and stress free even with us being in the UK and them being in the US. I would highly recommend using Adventure Life to anyone thinking of planning a trip. They are also priced very competitively which made it even better.
