Today visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the largest advancing glaciers in South America (more than 3 miles wide at its front and over 20 stories high). Depart from El Calafate early in the morning, allowing you to enjoy the landscape, the nature and the fauna, before the park becomes busy. Explore the footbridges and balconies, approximately 1,700 meters of walkways that expand near the face of the glacier. Listen for the great masses of ice crash into the lake with resounding roars. Your pooled tour guide will share with you information about the surrounding forest, glaciation in the area, and about the birdlife. Take a ferry trip in the Canal de los Tempanos on the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier passing beside icebergs, which have calved off the front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The boat will stop at a safe distance from the glacier, continuing to sail down its entire front, allowing spectacular view of the high wall of ice. This provides a totally different perspective of the Perito Moreno Glacier, with almost constant falling walls of ice from its front. Unique opportunity for photographers and nature lovers alike.

We are so glad that we chose Adventure Life. The service is top-notch. Everything is well taken care of and we just have to print the documents and go. Franny even gave us timely updates on possible airport strike.
