Day 1: Arrival Denpasar | Jimbaran

Upon arrival at the airport, you meet your guide for the drive to the coast. You settle into your hotel in Jimbaran to rest or explore the fishing village and beach at your leisure.

Day 2: Free Day in Jimbaran

You have a full day to enjoy the white sands of Jimbaran at your own pace. You might walk along the shoreline to watch the colorful jukung fishing boats return with their morning catch or find a quiet spot under a palm tree. Upon returning from the beach, settle into your hotel in Jimbaran to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 3: Surf in Jimbaran

Today you have the opportunity to ride the Balinese waves. You head to the shoreline to begin your first introduction to the country with a surf lesson. After learning the fundamentals of ocean safety and wave positioning, you practice your paddling technique and balance. Your instructor guides you through the timing required to catch a swell, helping you transition from a paddle to standing up on the board. You spend the morning navigating the break and refining your control in the water.

Day 4: Explore Jimbaran | Transfer to Munduk

You meet your guide in the morning to begin an extraordinary day heading to the world-famous Jatiluwih. This World Heritage Site is a living museum showcasing the island's traditional agricultural methods. You see how clever land utilization and cooperative use of water and other resources turn vertical hillsides into rice paddies. This trip covers 75 km and takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival later this afternoon, settle into your hotel in Munduk to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 5: Explore Munduk

Begin your day with a one-hour buggy drive uphill, passing the Devil Rocks. Following this initiation, you have the choice to cycle downhill via a dirt road for approximately 30 to 45 minutes or continue driving the buggy to reach the 4WD Land Rover. You then travel via dirt roads through hill areas and villages to the foot of Mt Batukaru to visit the sacred mountain temple. Here, you take the opportunity to meditate or relax while the local priest, or Pemangku, blesses you with holy water. After a picnic lunch en route, you continue toward the Pupuan region to see the local rice terraces. Your guide leads you on a short walk through the fields to explain the local flora that grows in the area. On the way back to the Munduk Wilderness base camp, you make a final stop at the Haunted Valley Waterfall for a fifteen-minute downhill walk and a refreshing swim. Your driver then transfers you back to your hotel to rest or explore at your leisure.

Note: A sarong is provided for the temple visit. Blessings by the Pemangku are subject to availability.

Day 6: Air Panas Hot Spring | Pematuran

This morning, you meet your private guide and driver to begin the drive toward the small fishing village of Pemuteran. Just off the coast lies Menjangan Island, which offers clear waters, light currents, and snorkeling within Bali Barat, the island’s only national park and home to the endangered Bali Sparrow. Along the way, you have the chance to take a bath at the sacred hot springs of 'Air Panas' in Banjar. Set within a landscaped tropical garden, the sulphuric volcanic waters provide a warm temperature for bathing. You continue through the village of Dencarik to reach Banjar Tegeha, home of the Brahma Arama Vihara. As the residence of Bali’s only Buddhist monk, this hillside monastery combines architectural elements from across the Buddhist world and offers a quiet atmosphere with views down to the ocean. This trip covers 55 km and takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival later this afternoon, settle into your hotel in Pemuteran to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 7: Snorkeling Adventure in Menjangan

Today, you meet your guide for a short boat trip to Menjangan Island to experience the snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. You swim among colorful corals teeming with tropical fish before breaking for lunch on the boat. If time allows, you spend more of the afternoon snorkeling before returning to the mainland. Upon your return to the resort, you have the evening at your leisure to rest or explore.

Day 8: Bali's Lakes | Drive to Ubud

This morning, your driver meets you for the trip to Ubud. This trip covers 105 km and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. You enjoy a scenic drive along the lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan before arriving at the mountain resort area of Bedugul, nestled on the shores of Lake Bratan. You see how this giant lake fills a crater formed thousands of years ago by volcanic blasts, with dense pine forests covering the slopes of Mount Bratan down to the calm shore. You visit the holy shrines dotting the shoreline, including the peaceful water temple of Ulun Danu. You continue to the village of Candikuning to wander through the daily market. You explore the diverse and colorful stalls offering a vast range of fresh fruit, local spices, and plants, including orchids. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel in Ubud to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 9: Ubud Countryside Cycling

The day begins at the tranquil Sebatu Temple, followed by a cycling excursion through Pakuduwi Village to observe the authentic rhythms of Balinese life. This scenic ride leads to the world-renowned Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where emerald fields cascade down steep hillsides in a display of ancient agricultural artistry. A local lunch in Ubud follows, providing a perfect moment to rest and enjoy the lush surroundings.

In the evening, the journey dives into local culture with an immersive visit to the Gianyar Night Market. This bustling hub transforms after dark into a sensory experience filled with the sights and aromas of authentic Indonesian street food. Wandering through the vibrant stalls offers the chance to sample traditional delicacies, from smoky, sizzling satay to sweet local treats, providing a true taste of the island's rich culinary heritage before returning to the hotel in Ubud.

Day 10: Rice Field Sunrise | Tjampuhan Spa

Start with an early pick-up from your hotel at 5:45 AM to travel through Ubud markets and traditional villages for glimpses of local life. At 6:45 AM, you witness the sunrise over the rice fields north of Ubud and enjoy a picnic breakfast within the tranquil setting. Your exploration continues along irrigation canals to learn about rice farming before reaching the Tjampuhan Hotel and Spa. Here, you rejuvenate in a hidden cave pool and undergo a 90-minute spa treatment for relaxation. Following an early lunch, your driver transfers you back to your hotel in Ubud to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 11: Transfer to Lombok

Meet your driver and guide this morning for the transfer to Padang Bai to board the shared fast boat to Lombok. This trip takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival at Senggigi harbor, you meet your private guide for the transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel in Tanjung to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 12: Waroeng Tugu Cooking Class

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to a traditional market to see the daily way of life in Lombok. You choose the recipes that interest you most before learning the techniques to prepare them during a cooking class at Waroeng Tugu. This experience showcases hundreds of years of traditions, highlighting the beauty and richness of Indonesian dining. Conclude the evening with a Waroeng dinner, eating with your hands in the open kitchen among oil lamps, stone grinders, and traditional steamers on wood-fire terracotta stoves. Upon completion of your meal, settle into your hotel in Lombok to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 13: Gili Islands Snorkeling

Today, enjoy a snorkeling excursion around the islands of Gili. board a boat for a snorkeling excursion to the three coral-fringed islands of Gili Air, Gili Meno, and Gili Trawangan. Each island features clear water and coral reefs teeming with colored fish for you to discover. Throughout the day, you experience the simple pleasures of the sun, snorkeling, and diving in these popular coastal spots. Upon returning to the mainland, settle into your hotel in Lombok to rest or explore at your leisure.

Day 14: Return Home

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby for the transfer to the Lombok Airport. You then board your flight from Lombok to Denpasar to connect with your onward travel.
