San Pedro Belize Diving Tour
Explore Belize’s top dive sites, including vibrant coral reefs and unique underwater formations. Stay at SunBreeze Suites, conveniently located near dive centers, with tours operated by Ambergris Divers and departures directly from the property.

Fishing Tours

Fish Belize’s diverse waters, from mangrove channels and saltwater flats to inner and outer reef areas. Options include fly fishing, trolling, and drop fishing, with year-round opportunities and seasonal abundance for certain species. Excursions can be arranged through the SunBreeze Suites front desk.

• Reef Fishing – Anchor inside the Belize Barrier Reef and fish for species such as snapper, barracuda, jack, and mackerel. Available as a half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) trip.
• Fly Fishing – Fish Belize’s sandbars, tidal flats, and shallow waters in pursuit of bonefish, tarpon, and permit. Cast from a skiff and aim for the Grand Slam. Available as a full-day (8 hours) excursion. (Time: 7:00 AM – 2:00PM)
• Fishing, BBQ & Snorkel – Full Day – Spend the day fishing, snorkeling, and relaxing by the beach. Start with a boat ride to the Belize Barrier Reef to fish for snapper, then enjoy snorkeling in nearby waters. End the day as your guide grills your catch on the beach for a fresh, seaside meal.

Snorkeling

Explore protected reef waters home to about 100 coral species and 500 fish species. Trips to top snorkeling sites can be arranged through the SunBreeze Suites front desk.

• Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley Snorkeling – Take a short 15-minute boat ride from San Pedro to Hol Chan Marine Reserve, known for its vibrant reefs and diverse marine life. Continue to Shark Ray Alley to snorkel among nurse sharks, rays, and other tropical species. (Time: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM)
• Mexico Rocks with Tres Cocos – Located inside the reef north of San Pedro, Mexico Rocks offers a half-day snorkeling experience among large coral formations and tropical fish. Rays and barracudas are also commonly spotted in these waters. (Time: 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
• Bacalar Chico – Spend a full day exploring the northern side of Ambergris Caye. Travel around the island to Bacalar Chico, visit a centuries-old Mayan-made canal, and spot birds, orchids, and other wildlife along the mangroves. Enjoy clear waters and abundant marine life throughout the tour. (Time: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Caye Caulker Catamaran Day Sail – Sail to Hol Chan Marine Reserve for guided snorkeling, then continue to Shark Ray Alley to see nurse sharks and rays. Enjoy a relaxed sail to Caye Caulker, where you can explore sandy streets, colorful homes, shops, and local eateries. After lunch, return to San Pedro with a leisurely sail. (Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Sunset Catamaran Cruise – Depart from Ambergris Caye for an evening sail toward Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Relax on board with a drink in hand and watch the Caribbean Sea shimmer as the sun sets, offering a scenic and peaceful end to the day. (Time: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM)

Belize Inland Adventure Tours
From Ambergris Caye, venture inland for jungle treks, birdwatching, ziplining, and river tubing through cave systems. Explore ancient Maya sites with temples and tombs that highlight Belize’s rich history. Tours can be arranged through the SunBreeze Suites front desk.

• Zipline & Cave Tubing – Float through Belize’s cave system on an inner tube, passing stalactites, stalagmites, and chambers once used by the Maya. The journey includes a short jungle hike and tubing through five cave tunnels along the Caves Branch River. Continue the adventure with a zipline tour across eight platforms, offering canopy views and guided insight into the surrounding ecosystem, before rappelling to the ground. (Time: 7:00 AM by boat & return at 5:30 PM)
• Lamanai Maya Site Trip – Travel to the Lamanai archaeological site by combining scenic drives and jungle river cruises. Pass wildlife, local villages, and a Mennonite settlement along the way. Hidden near Belize’s largest freshwater lagoon, Lamanai features over 700 mapped Maya structures. Visit the museum, explore temples, and enjoy panoramic views of the jungle, Maya Mountains, and New River Lagoon while spotting native wildlife. (Time: 7:00 AM by boat and return at 5:30 PM)
• ATM Cave Tour – Near San Ignacio in Belize’s Cayo District, this archaeological site offers a guided cave exploration featuring ancient ceramics, skeletal remains, and striking cave formations. Highlights include the “Crystal Maiden,” a calcified skeleton believed to be a Maya sacrifice. The tour involves rainforest hiking, swimming, and climbing for an immersive journey into Belize’s ancient past. (Time: 6:30 AM by boat and return at 5:30 PM)
