Apparently using your iPhone is OK on in country flights, or at least that is what the pilot thought.

The most memorable event of the day had to be one of the top 3 showers of my life. Still G-rated.

The beach to the jungle

Returning Home
Apr 13, 2009
Regrettably our trip has come to an end. One last delicious robust breakfast overlooking the rain forest and saying good bye to Pooks Hill, the Mayan ruins and a few scorpions. Cindy won't miss the scorpions, but that's about all we won't miss. We finish up with a pleasant drive to the airport with Pooks Hills' very knowledgeable manager and learned about the politics and current struggles in modern day Belize. Certainly had a rude awakening and return to the hustle and bustle of US life as we accidentally triggered the alarm system (allowing our neighbors to be rudely awakened as well!) and had to contend with our "wildlife," having to trap and release our nesting sparrow that entered the house along with us!
Already thinking about the next excursion...
