You travel by coach from Siem Reap to Steung Trang to board the boat. Then, you take a sunset cruise on the Mekong, meet the crew for the next 7 nights, and have a welcome dinner.
Start your day with some Tai Chi or just a coffee on deck while cruising to Peam Chi Korng, a pottery spot in Cambodia. After a quick tuk-tuk ride, you check out local potters, explore the village, and hit up the fresh market to try out your language skills. In the afternoon, you stop at Pak Russei, a small village on the Mekong, walk around, watch locals weaving silk and making noodles, and wrap up with a private Bokator martial arts show before heading back to the ship.
In the morning, travel by coach to the ancient capital of Cambodia, Oudong, where you visit the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Center. Walk around the vast complex with its impressive Khmer architecture and experience a short meditation class to quieten your mind. Rejoin your ship in Kampong Tralach for lunch aboard. In the afternoon, travel by ox-cart around the riverside villages, markets, and temples to get a sense of life in rural Cambodia. In the evening, cocktails are served around a fire pit at a small fishing village, where you are joined by village folk keen to share tales and show you their traditional dancing.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
Info was accurate and delivered quickly so that a decision could be made. This is my second trip with Adventure Life.

Claudia does an excellent job of communicating. HOWEVER…you paperwork requirements are constipated — a real impediment to doing business. Fire the lawyers or accountants over that.
