Arrive in Phnom Penh and meet your driver and guide for an early morning transfer to the Royal Railway Station. Board the public train to Kampot and enjoy a scenic journey through the Cambodian countryside. Upon arrival, meet your local driver and guide for a transfer to your hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring Kampot at your own pace.
Your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in the morning to begin your cycling exploration of Kampot’s countryside. Collect your bicycle and meet your guide before setting off through rice fields, durian and rambutan orchards, and charming villages dotted with colonial-era buildings. Stop along the way to meet local residents, with your guide helping translate conversations and encouraging you to try a few Khmer phrases. The ride ends at the Kampot River, where you can relax, swim in the cool water, and enjoy a local picnic lunch by the rapids. Afterward, transfer back to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

After breakfast, meet your local guide and driver for a half-day exploration of Kep and its beautiful surroundings. Begin with a visit to the sea salt fields, where local farmers harvest salt during the dry season, offering a glimpse into one of the region’s traditional livelihoods. Continue to Kep National Park, a well-preserved sanctuary home to birds, monkeys, and reptiles. Enjoy a scenic 4-mile / 7-kilometer hike along forested trails leading to a hidden lake in the hills. After your walk, meet your driver and head to the local crab market for a well-earned lunch featuring freshly caught seafood. In the afternoon, pass by the remnants of old French villas and visit a nearby temple overlooking the countryside and ocean before returning to your hotel to relax for the evening.
After breakfast, your driver and guide meet you for your transfer to the train station. Board the public train to Sihanoukville and take in the scenic views of Cambodia’s coastal countryside. Upon arrival, meet your local driver and guide for the transfer to JATI Koh Russey Jetty, where you board a shared speedboat for a short ride to Koh Russey Island. Check in at your resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the beach or exploring the island at your own pace.
Spend the day at leisure on the island. Enjoy swimming in the ocean or pool, relaxing on the beach, or exploring nearby trails. You may also join a yoga session, book a spa treatment, or simply take time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at your own pace.
Day 6: Return Phnom Penh

Spend a leisurely morning enjoying the island before checking out. When ready, board the shared speedboat from Koh Russey back to the mainland at Ream Beach. Upon arrival, meet your private driver and local guide for the transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport, a drive of approximately two and a half hours via the expressway. Arrive in time for your onward flight home.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
