Day 1: St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda | Embark

Your luxurious yacht cruise begins in St. John’s, where you’ll be transferred to your yacht and embark on your discovery of the Eastern Caribbean and the Grenadines.

Please book your flight to arrive at St John's prior to 03:00 PM.

Day 2: Barbuda, Antigua | Barbuda

Barbuda is part of a three-island state along with Antigua and the uninhabited island of Redonda, located in the northeastern Caribbean region. Barbuda is often described as Antigua’s sister island.  Barbuda’s beaches, which are world-renowned, are miles long and are often sprinkled with pink sand. Barbuda is frequently referred to as one of the top destinations for independent travelers from all over the world, and today, it is yours to explore.

Day 3: Norman Island, British Virgin Islands

Norman Island, a privately owned island, is part of the British Virgin Islands. However, this island still attracts many tourists and sailors who come for snorkeling, diving, hiking, or simply soaking in some Caribbean sun. There are rumors about the island’s piratical past, including its name coming from the famous pirate Norman. Norman Island’s caves are a fun place to go diving and explore – and who knows, perhaps you will find your very own treasure chest. Norman Island is indeed an idyllic escape from real life and a must-add stop to your exploration of the Virgin Islands.

Opportunity to spend the day swimming off the yacht and enjoying our marina toys.

Please note: Selected departures will visit Jost van Dyke prior to Norman Island

Day 4: Jost van Dyke, British Virgin Islands

Jost van Dyke (which is barely four miles long) is an island widely known by travellers around the world for its casual lifestyle and beachfront restaurants and bars, as well as its protected anchorages and pristine beaches. Great Harbour is one of the main sights to see on the island, as it is sheltered by small mountains and offers a truly relaxed Caribbean feel. The local drink, the Painkiller, was born here – a frozen delight made from dark rum, pineapple juice and orange juice, with fresh nutmeg ground on top. Today you will enjoy a barbeque on shore together with your fellow travellers.

Day 5: Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

Virgin Gorda is the third-largest and second-most populous of the British Virgin Islands. Columbus’ lieutenants named the island Virgen Gorda – or ‘the pregnant virgin’, as upon approaching the island from the north or the east, the outline of a pregnant woman lying on her back is visible on the horizon. Somehow uncrowded, Gorda Sound itself has recently blossomed into a busy place surrounded by resorts and vacation villas. Virgin Gorda is a beautiful island; an ideal jumping-off point for an in-depth discovery of the Virgin Islands.

Day 6: Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy

Named for Sweden’s King Gustav III, Gustavia is the charming capital and main seaport of the island of Saint Barthélemy, also known as St. Barth. It is often considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean and a tropical paradise with French flair. You will enjoy the beauty of its large idyllic beaches, plus the charm and refinement of its old wooden houses.

Day 7: Marigot Bay, Saint Martin

Marigot is a lovely town and the administrative center of French Saint Martin. Both French and Caribbean cultures can be seen throughout the island, creating that unique blend of French Caribbean. Some of the most spectacular sights include the castle of Fort Louis overlooking the town and reminding locals and visitors alike of its significant past. The open-air market is open every day for those seeking to discover the island’s local vibe and flavors. Artisans here sell anything from fresh fruits and spices to artwork and even rum. The market is a delight to the senses, and while you are there, don’t forget to try Mauby, a local beverage flavored with bark that tastes like root beer.

Day 8: St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Your time aboard your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht comes to an end in St. John’s. After bidding farewell to the crew and your fellow guests, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

Please book your flight to depart out of St John's after 12:00 PM.

The itinerary is a guide only and may be amended for operational reasons.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
