Finca La Candelilla Casanare - Photos & Trips from the Hotel

Finca La Candelilla is a very special retreat nestled among gallery forests and picturesque tropical farmland on the banks of the Pauto River. This rustic accommodation captivates with simple charm, natural building materials, and warm hosts who practice sustainable ecotourism. Here, living with nature and the Llanero way of life come together uniquely. Guests are awakened by the dawn chorus of howler monkeys and can explore river paths where birds sing at sunrise and nocturnal animals like opossums, agoutis, and owls awaken at night. With open cabins overlooking the homestead and tropical hinterland, a stay here means immersing yourself in another world. Whether participating in a chocolate workshop or a canoe tour, the family-run atmosphere ensures you feel right at home while experiencing the vibrant biodiversity of the plains.

Another amazing adventure. Personalized itinerary, with experts to guide you each day and who are available to ensure plans go off as expected. Great daily excursions with attention to the details. A company rep is always available to assist. The excursions are meaningful and a lot of fun. I've learned so much about yet another culture.

I have been working with the wonderful professionals at Adventure Life for many years and keep coming back because of the friendly, courteous, professional expertise I always receive. I've looked for travel agencies here at home but nothing compares to the service I receive with Adventure Life.
