Day 1: Monteverde Cheese Factory

Explore this historic factory during your stay in the Monteverde area. Started by local Quaker farmers that first settled in Monteverde, the factory makes cheese, yogurt and the best ice cream in Costa Rica. During your tour you will learn about the Quakers and their families as well as the process involved to make the fine dairy products the factory produces. The tour ends with a chance for you to sample cheeses and ice cream produced here. A great way to "treat" yourself on your Costa Rica tour.
