Pucuare Rafting
Raft through Costa Rica's rainforest along the stunning Pacuare River. Navigate Class II-IV rapids, serene stretches, and lush landscapes featuring waterfalls and towering rock faces. Accessible only by rafting or hiking, the eco-friendly Rios Lodge provides a secluded retreat immersed in the rainforest.
Hiking
Enjoy hiking along the scenic Pacuare River Trail. Begin at the cable car crossing and follow the rolling path downstream to the lodge, where you'll be served lunch. Return via the same trail to the cable car for shuttle transportation to Siquirres and onward travel.
Zip-line Canopy Tour
Experience an exhilarating zip-line tour across the Pacuare River, offering stunning views of the rainforest, river gorge, and lodge.
Hummingbird Morning Garden Hike
Enjoy a guided walk through the hotel gardens to discover tropical plants, insects, birds, and wildlife, including hummingbirds, blue morpho butterflies, and orchids.

El Tigre Waterfall Hike
Hike to a cable crossing over the Pacuare River, glide 10-15 meters above the water, and continue 1 km to a secluded river tributary with a swimming pool.
Tiger Heron Tubing
Enjoy a 2-3 hour river adventure starting with a 1 km walk to the eco-tram at Rios Lodge. Launch from the beach or under the tram to float through class I-II rapids. Along the way, learn about river hydrology and spot tropical birds in the trees.
Bullet Ant Night Hike
Embark on a slow-paced night hike to discover nocturnal wildlife like frogs, spiders, and snakes. Guided by experts, you'll have the chance to photograph and film active critters in the rainforest.
Horseback Riding (Additional cost)
Embark on a 4-hour adventure starting with a short hike to the eco-tram cable crossing. Enjoy a tractor ride up the ridge to mount horses and explore breathtaking vistas overlooking the Pacuare River. The tour ends with a trek through reforestation areas, concluding with a rainforest walk back to Rios Lodge.
