MV Freya is built for true Arctic exploration with a hull of the highest 1A ice-class rating, capable of venturing deep into the pack ice where few ships can go. With space for just 12 guests, every journey feels personal and flexible, combining authentic expedition spirit with modern comfort. Originally constructed as a lighthouse-building vessel, Freya now features spacious cabins, inviting interiors, and multiple decks designed for discovery.

Two Zodiacs allow close encounters with Arctic wildlife and shore landings in remote places, while an open-bridge policy welcomes guests to join the crew and share in the navigation of the wilderness. Observation decks span several levels, providing panoramic views ideal for photography and wildlife spotting.

After a day of adventure, relax in the sauna or outdoor hot tub, or gather in the saloon-style dining room, cozy lounge, or bridge lounge to share stories and enjoy freshly prepared meals. With her small size, welcoming crew, and go-anywhere build, Freya offers a warm and characterful setting for exploring the high Arctic.
