Heritage Expeditions
Heritage Discoverer is a purpose-built expedition ship designed for exploring remote regions in comfort, from Antarctica and the Arctic to tropical islands and isolated coastlines. Originally built for expedition cruising and refurbished in 2018, 2023 and 2026, the ship combines proven expedition capability with spacious accommodations and modern onboard facilities. With a Lloyds 1A ice-class rating, she is equipped for polar voyages while remaining versatile enough for warmer destinations.
Carrying a maximum of 130 guests and supported by an Expedition Team of 15, Heritage Discoverer offers an intimate onboard experience with personalized service and flexible shore operations. A fleet of 14 Zodiacs allows access to remote landing sites, coastlines, and wildlife areas that larger vessels cannot easily reach.
The ship features 70 ocean-view accommodations, including spacious suites with private balconies ranging from 37m² to 67m². Public spaces include panoramic observation areas, open viewing decks, inviting lounges, and an Open Bridge policy that allows guests to visit the Bridge throughout the voyage.
Guests can attend expert lectures in the Lecture Theatre, dine in two onboard restaurants, or relax in the Bar and Lounge after excursions. Wellness facilities include a sauna, massage room, fitness center, and two outdoor Jacuzzis with ocean views. Throughout the journey, naturalists, botanists, and historians provide lectures, briefings, and guided excursions that help bring each destination to life.
