Moderately active but not overly strenuous. This level includes activities like casual cycling, yoga, or excursions/activities that typically last 3-5 hours total each day.
Depart in the morning from Quito and drive towards the towering Cotopaxi Volcano and arrive to the Hacienda Santa Rita Ecological Reserve to explore the forest by zipline. This system was originally used by scientists who were doing research in the forest. The zipline provides a great vantage point for birdwatching and enjoying the scenery and is an adrenaline rush as you soar above the trees. After this excursion, drive to El Porvenir, a fully-functioning hacienda set high in the Andean paramo with spectacular views of Cotopaxi. Enjoy a nice traditional lunch and explore the hacienda's grounds. In the afternoon, return to Quito.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

What made our Costa Rica experience great was the wonderful places we stayed and transportation to get to our different areas to visit was excellent! The white water rafting and the snorkeling & dolphin watching were really fun!
