Day 1: Porto, Portugal | Embark

Boarding begins at 5:00 p.m. After getting settled in your cabin, join the crew for a welcome cocktail before dinner. In the evening, an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY coach excursion offers a chance to see Porto by night.

Day 2: Porto | Regua

Join an optional excursion to explore Porto. Choose the Classic option for a guided coach tour of the city center, including St. Francis Church, Bolsa Palace, and an azulejo tile workshop before returning to the ship. Alternatively, choose the Discovery option to tour Porto by tram, visit the tram museum, and taste local specialties in the old city. In the afternoon, cruise through the Douro Valley and enjoy its landscapes. In Regua, spend the evening dancing or at leisure.

Day 3: Regua | Vega de teron

Join an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: the Casa de Mateus and the Douro museum. Leave on foot for the Douro Museum to learn about the passionate history and wine-making heritage in the region, an experience combining traditional and modern approaches. Continue on by coach to Mateus Palace, a beautiful 18th-century manor in Vila Real. This baroque-style manor belonged to the same family until a foundation was set up to preserve it in 1970. The dramatic splendor and details of the complex offer a unique visual relationship between geometry and space. Enjoy a stroll through the magnificent tree- and hedge-lined gardens, which include a romantic Mexican-cedar topiary tunnel. After, you return to the ship in Pinhão by coach. In the afternoon, the cruise continues to the heart of the most famous vineyards in Porto to Vega de Terron. You'll arrive in the evening. Enjoy an evening of Flamenco entertainment.

Day 4: Salamanca | Barca d'alva

Join for the excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Salamanca. This town of dazzling beauty houses some extraordinary Roman, Arabic, and Christian architectural treasures.
DISCOVERY: Salamanca tapas tour.

Return on board in Barca d'Alva. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 5: Barca d'alva| Ferradosa | Pinhao

This morning will be spent cruising. Join an excursion for both packages, which include the "wines of Porto" excursion and a wine-tasting session excursion and a wine-tasting session. Tonight, join the gala dinner and evening.

Day 6: Pinhao | Porto

Join an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Guided tour of Lamego. This afternoon will be spent cruising. Enjoy an evening of Fado-themed entertainment.

Day 7: Porto

This morning, enjoy time at leisure in Porto. In the afternoon, join the proposed excursions:

CLASSIC: Discover Guimaraes.
DISCOVERY: Quaint Afurada.

Enjoy an evening of traditional folk entertainment.

Day 8: Porto | Disembark

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

Perfect! UnCruise 2 Day Glacier Bay Adventure Cruise - arrangements made through Adventure Life. As we had traveled with Adventure Life previously I contacted them when we were interested in a small boat Alaska cruise. Adventure Life had the type of cruise we were interested and provided information, answered questions, and provided details. Emails received quick responses. We did the UnCruise 2 Day Glacier Bay Adventure Cruise which provided everything we wanted: small boat, activities (kayaking, hiking, ability to get close to nature. The UnCruise guides were terrific, knowledgeable and helpful. Safety was paramount. Expeditions were varied and long enough to be fun, short enough to be relaxing. Evening presentations were pertinent to what we saw or would be seeing. One evening included stories on the upper deck at sunset....wonderful. Food was excellent; the desserts were exceptional. The captain could be seen assisting kayakers into their kayaks, checking the skiffs, working with his crew. Scenery was unforgettable - from calving glaciers, sunrise on glaciers, whales alongside the vessel, This was an absolutely perfect trip.
