View hilltop castles, vineyards, and the legendary Lorelei Rock while cruising between Koblenz and Rudesheim. Walk Rüdesheim’s lively Drosselgasse, taste regional wines, or hike vineyard trails above the Rhine. Continue toward Mannheim while passing Wiesbaden, Nierstein, and Worms. Visit nearby Heidelberg to explore the old town and castle overlooking the Neckar River. The cruise combines scenic sailing, historic cities, castles, and vineyard landscapes across France and Germany.

Board the ship at 6:00 p.m. and settle into your cabin. Attend a welcome cocktail where the crew presents the onboard team and provides an introduction to the cruise. The ship departs later in the evening and begins overnight sailing along the Rhine.
Sail toward Lauterbourg, Speyer, and Mainz before continuing along one of the most scenic stretches of the Romantic Rhine toward Koblenz. Cruise past Kaub, Oberwesel, and St. Goar while viewing castles and vineyards along the riverbanks. Spot Stolzenfels Castle before docking in Koblenz in the late afternoon. Walk through the historic old town with the ship’s host and explore local streets and landmarks. Spend the evening at leisure in the city.
Day 3: Koblenz | The Romantic Rhine Valley | Rudesheim
Cruise up the most beautiful part of the romantic Rhine between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. You will pass numerous castles nestling in the famed vineyards and the celebrated rock of the Lorelei. Arrival in Rudesheim early in the afternoon. Join the team for the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Departure in a touristic train stopping at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a visit to the museum of mechanical music. DISCOVERY: Hiking through the vineyards in Rudesheim.
In the evening, the famous Drosselgasse awaits you with its numerous cafés and bands.
Departure of the ship early in the morning to cruise up the Rhine to Mannheim. You will pass the towns of Wiesbaden, Nierstein, Worms. Join the team on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion:
Heidelberg. Back on board late in the afternoon. Tonight is the gala evening and dinner. The ship will sail towards Strasbourg through the night.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!!
