Day 1: Strasbourg

Hop aboard at 6 p.m. and make yourself at home in your cozy cabin. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, meet the friendly crew, and let the adventure begin!

Day 2: Strasbourg | Breisach

Begin the day with a guided tour of Strasbourg and its stunning cathedral. Sail along the river to see Petite France, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the European Quarter. Continue on foot to admire the cathedral’s pink sandstone façade, towering spire, and beautiful stained glass. Don’t miss the famous astronomical clock! Return to the ship by coach and spend the afternoon cruising toward Breisach. Relax on the Sun Deck, join an onboard activity, or enjoy a presentation. Arrive in Breisach by evening for onboard entertainment and an overnight stay in port.

Day 3: Breisach | Colmar | Basel

Enjoy a free morning in Breisach. Join a tour of the city. Amble through the picturesque streets of this small city sitting on the banks of the Rhine River. Take a break and enjoy a treat in one of the cafés or ice-cream parlors in the main square. Don't miss a visit to the cathedral, where great panoramic views of the Rhine and Black Forest await. Return to the ship at your own pace.

In the afternoon, join an included guided tour of Colmar and the Hansi Village and its museum. Leave by coach for Colmar. Discover the charming old town and its historic center with prestigious monuments such as the Maison des Têtes, built at the beginning of the 17th century and named as such for the 111 heads decorating the outside. Strolling through the city is the best way to take in the beauty of the colors, sights, and sounds in Alsace. You come across the quaint quarter known as "Little Venice," once a fishing merchant hub along the Quai de la Poissonnerie. The tour continues to the Hansi Village and its museum. Jean-Jacques Waltz, also known as Oncle Hansi, was an Alsatian artist and activist considered a French hero during both World Wars for his critiques of the Germans. The museum traces his legacy through his considerable works and the impact he had on Alsatian folklore.

You return to the ship. Spend the afternoon cruising to Basel. Tonight is the festive gala evening.

Day 4: Basel | Jungfraujoch | Basel

Full-day excursion to the Jungfrau Region. (1) Leave by coach from Basel for Lauterbrunnen (an approximate 2.5-hour drive). From there, you board the rack railway that takes you through the Eiger and Mönch mountains to Europe’s highest railway station. The railway, inaugurated in 1912, climbs steadily through the spectacular scenery in the Swiss Alps. Breathtaking views of snow-capped summits, majestic glaciers, and verdant valleys await. The apex of this excursion is Jungfrau Station. Perched at an altitude of over 11,000 feet (3,454 meters), the station offers astonishing views of the Great Aletsch Glacier and surrounding peaks. The train ride is an unforgettable experience combining adventure, nature, and remarkable engineering. Enjoy lunch in a restaurant. For your return, take the train to Eigergletscher Station, where you board a gondola lift to Grindelwald Terminal. This is another moment to take in the exceptional views of the Alps. After you arrive in Grindelwald, you return to Basel by coach (an approximate 2.5- to 3-hour drive). Enjoy dinner on board. The ship cruises to Strasbourg.

Note: During the excursion to Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe, you will travel to high mountains and reach an altitude of over 11,330 feet (3,454 meters). Freezing temperatures exist in summer, just as in winter. Basic equipment for this excursion includes a coat, closed-toe shoes, gloves/mittens, hat, and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the high-mountain sun.

Day 5: Strasbourg

Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking around 10:00 a.m.
