Transfer by coach from Strasbourg to Cologne. Board the MS Gérard Schmitter in Cologne at 6:00 p.m. Settle in your cabin and attend to the crew Introduction over a welcome cocktail. Enjoy a delightful dinner and remain in port overnight.
This morning join a guided tour on foot of Cologne and its magnificent Gothic cathedral, which was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1996. Then visit the Fragrance Museum Farina-House and learn about the birthplace of the Eau de Cologne. Return onboard and spend the afternoon cruising with a lecture on board before an evening of entertainment. Cruise during the night.
Arrive in Mainz early in the morning. Set off on a guided tour on foot of the Mainz Cathedral and its museum. The three-nave cathedral is predominantly Romanesque in architecture, but later additions over many centuries resulted in the different influences seen today. After your visit, return to the ship and cruise towards Worms, arriving in the late afternoon. Join a guided tour on foot of Worms and its cathedral. This cathedral is one of the finest examples of High Romanesque architecture in Germany. Return on board in the evening and remain in port overnight.

Dominated by its red sandstone castle perched above, the city has preserved its unequaled charm. Return on board in Speyer. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour on foot of Speyer and its cathedral. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this cathedral has maintained the overall form and dimensions of the original 11th-century Romanesque structure. Its design sets the standard for the many of the churches built in the Rhineland. Return on board in the evening and cruise to Strasbourg during the night.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.

Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!
