Day 1: Arrive at Keflavik Airport or Reykjavik Airport | Fly to Constable Point | Embark

  • 1 Dinner
Meet your fellow travellers and the Secret Atlas representative at the designated meeting point in Keflavik Airport or Reykjavik Airport, Iceland. Proceed through security before boarding a charter flight to Nerlerit Inaat Airport (Constable Point), Greenland. After arrival, walk a short distance to the shoreline and board a Zodiac to reach your expedition ship.

Day 2-3: Viking Bay | Danmark Island

Explore Viking Bay on a Zodiac cruise, passing bird cliffs and impressive basalt columns. Hike across Danmark Island, look for divers and possible musk oxen, and discover ancient Thule remains within the fjord.

Day 4-6: Hare Fjord | Ofjord | Bear Islands | Sydkap

Sail into Hare Fjord, which likely gained its name from the Arctic hare that presides here.

Tour steep-sided Ofjord and land on the Bear Islands for panoramic views of this scenic stretch of Scoresbysund.

Land on Sydkap to discover Thule remains and a hunters’ cabin, gaining a dramatic view of the surrounding icebergs on the Northeast Greenland National Park border.

Day 7: Ittoqqortoormiit

Sail to Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the remotest towns on the planet, with a distinctive culture and way of life. Then, fly back to Keflavik on a charter plane.

Day 8: Disembark | Fly back to Iceland

Arrive in Keflavik for your overnight stay at a hotel before returning home.

Day 9: Reykjavík, Iceland | Return Home
