After a safety briefing from the captain, get ready to set sail into the breathtaking wilderness of Greenland. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime!
Embark on a breathtaking journey along the Volquart Boons Coast in Greenland, where you’ll witness one glacier after another for miles. As you sail west, you’ll come across the impressive basalt columns of Viking Bay, where you can take a zodiac cruise at the foot of the towering cliffs. Nearby, Danmark Ø offers a glimpse into the ancient Inuit settlement with well-preserved archeological sites of their winter and summer houses. Take a closer look at the vast glacier front and disembark for a hike to truly immerse yourself in the beauty of Greenland.
Day 6-8: Røde Fjord & Hare Fjord | Ø Fjord & Sydkap
As you navigate through a maze of towering icebergs, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the smaller branches of the fjord system, including Røde Fjord and Hare Fjord. Get ready for an unforgettable journey through one of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth.
Witness the awe-inspiring Ø Fjord, one of the world’s most impressive fjords. This 74 km long strait is surrounded by towering mountains and tranquil waters filled with colossal icebergs. Day 9: Ittoqqortoormiit | Disembark
1 Breakfast
Before we disembark we will visit the remote settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit. This small community of only 400 Greenlandic people is isolated by sea ice for much of the year, making it a truly unique destination. As the expedition comes to a close, our crew will transport you to the landing strip for a charter flight back to Reykjavik, where we will stay one more night at the hotel before departing Iceland.
Day 10: Reykjavik | Flight Home
Bid a fond farewell to the hotel staff and then head to the airport to catch your flight back home.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
