Hotel Odinsvé

Hotel Odinsve has welcomed guests since 1984 and sits in a quiet part of Reykjavík’s old town, where the surrounding streets are named after gods and goddesses from Nordic mythology. The hotel focuses on a relaxed atmosphere and personal attention, and the neighborhood has many restaurants, cafés, and bars within walking distance. Hallgrímskirkja church is about a 6-minute walk away, Harpa concert hall about 10 minutes, and the Old Harbour about 15 minutes. Two sister properties, Óðinsvé Hotel Apartments and Rey Apartments, offer apartment stays in the city center. Housekeeping is provided on request rather than daily, an approach the hotel says reduces water and chemical use, and guests can ask for daily cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes at the front desk.

Children under 12 stay free when they use existing beds, and extra beds are available in some room types for an added fee.
