Located in a special place in the heart of the rocky desert of Damaraland, an ancient, starkly beautiful landscape, one finds the Damaraland Adventurer Camp. This camp offers sweeping southward views of Namibia's largest monolith, Brandberg Mountain. Tucked away in and amongst the sandstone hills, each tent is rather roomy with wooden beds and mattresses decked in cotton linen and comfy duvets.
En-suite bathrooms with toilet and shower are located at the back of each tent. The tents are pitched on timber platforms, which allow for a small viewing deck during your Namibia tour. The common area of camp center around the camp fire, where guest eat meals and tell stories into late into the night.
Activities:
- Day and night nature walks
- Visit Twyfelfontein (a World Heritage Site)
- Nature Drives
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
