Ideally situated in the midst of Damaraland's heat, dust, and stunning scenery, Mowani Mountain Camp offers a sanctuary for those visiting this unique desert landscape. The camp is nestled amongst granite boulders, overlooking the Aba Huab Riverbed where desert-adapted elephants often wander through. The thatched dome structures echo the shape of the surrounding granite, a theme of natural African elegance that is complemented throughout the camp. Each thatched suite is set on a raised wooden platform, offering a private veranda and outstanding views over the Aba Huab Valley.
Mowani's main complex consists of a reception area, bar, spacious dining room, and a lounge overlooking a waterhole. In the evenings, guests congregate around the inviting fireplace, sharing stories of adventure from the day in Damaraland. Cool down with a swim in the pool, which also offers a fantastic sundowner viewpoint.
