Set on the private Ongave Game Reserve, the Ongava Tented Camp offers guests eight large Meru-style tents all of which have comfortable beds, pure cotton linens, private verandas with chairs, and open air showers. The main area, constructed of stone, canvas and thatch, overlooks a watering hole popular with the local game. Enjoy outdoor swimming pool in between safari activities. Ongava is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where guests have the chance to see both black and white rhino while on an African Safari. Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
