The eight guest rooms convey minimalist sensibilities while retaining maximum comfort. Each of the common areas is adorned with wildlife photography, highlighting the best of the safari experience.

A quick 10-minute drive from the center of Windhoek, the Galton House is in a prime location on the edge of an affluent suburb. A number of shops, restaurants and supermarkets are within easy walking distance, and there is a shuttle service available for guests wanting to strike even further out.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
