Maderas Volcano Lagoon Tour
Duration: 6-8 hours
This challenging hike takes about 4 hours to reach the top and 2-3 hours to return. Explore Ometepe’s diverse rainforest, spotting butterflies, monkeys, birds, and the volcanic crater lagoon.
Concepcion Volcano Tour
Duration: 6-8 hours
Hike Volcano Concepción's steep, sandy terrain. Enjoy stunning views of Ometepe's isthmus, Maderas Volcano, Chontales, and Costa Rica, plus unique vegetation.

Virgin Jungle Tour
Duration: 1.5 hours
This tour starts early, before breakfast, to explore the virgin jungle at its best. It's the ideal time to spot vibrant birds like parrots and bluejays, and possibly howler and capuchin monkeys. You'll also see a variety of plants and lush forests along the way. If you'd like an English-speaking guide, arrange it a day in advance (at additional cost).
"El Porvenir" Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Visit "El Porvenir" on horseback to see Nahualt petroglyphs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Your guide, Julio, will point out tropical trees and their uses, and explain how natives prepared drinks for traditional celebrations. Ride back along the shoreline of Santo Domingo. Tour includes horses and a guide. The entrance fee is not included.
