On your 1-day glacier tour from El Calafate aboard Maria Turquesa, you experience Gourmet Glaciers as you sail from Puerto La Soledad through the landscapes of Los Glaciares National Park. You navigate Lago Argentino past the Devil’s Mouth, Squadron Bay and Condorera, a natural home for condors, before entering Spegazzini Channel to discover the Dry, Heim and Spegazzini glaciers, whose walls exceed 130 meters. At Puesto Las Vacas, you join a guided walk to learn about the local flora, fauna and history. Day 1: La Soledad Port | Embark | Iconic Glaciers Navigation | Puerto Moreno | Disembark

1 Lunch

Your day begins with a hotel pick-up starting at 7:15 a.m. You arrive at Puerto La Soledad at 8:45 a.m. and set sail at 9:00 a.m. to tour Lago Argentino. You navigate past the Devil's Mouth, Squadron Bay, and Condorera. You enter the Spegazzini Channel to view the Dry, Heim, and Spegazzini glaciers. Next, you disembark at Puesto Las Vacas for a guided walk to learn about the local flora, fauna, and history. You continue towards the Upsala Canal to observe the glacier and its icebergs while having lunch on board. Finally, you sail into the Canal de Los Témpanos to view the Perito Moreno Glacier. You disembark back at Puerto La Soledad at 5:00 p.m. and take a bus back to El Calafate starting at 6:00 p.m. If you choose the optional disembarkation at 3:45 p.m. to walk the Perito Moreno footbridges, your return to the hotel is at 7:00 p.m.
