Day 1: Singapore City Half-day Tour

Start your half-day Singapore City tour in the morning by heading to Esplanade and walking along Marina Bay to reach Merlion Park, the mouth of the Singapore River. Continue on foot to the civic district, where some British colonial buildings are located, such as the National Gallery and Victoria Theatre. Walk along the Padang before being transferred to Chinatown. Explore the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the oldest and most significant temple for the Hokkien community in the country. Walk to the street market and stop at the Sri Mariamman Temple, Singapore's oldest Hindu temple, and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which is said to house a relic of the Buddha. Finally, visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the only tropical garden honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (National Orchid Garden not included). At the end of the tour, return transfer to the hotel.
