The Avondrood Guest House is about an hour's drive from Cape Town, in the Winelands country which is known as the Franschhoek Valley. It is a Victorian Cape-Dutch home that allows you to experience French Huguenot culture during your stay.
The Guest House is close to wonderful restaurants, gift shops, cafes and historical buildings that you can explore. At Avondrood there are private gardens, a large pool, a heated jacuzzi and an outdoor breakfast veranda that overlooks the mountains. The main house has a spacious lounge with a fireplace and it is a great place to relax with a cocktail. There are eight large suites to choose from at Avondrood and they all are individually decorated.
