Day 1 Arrive Cape Town
Arrive Cape Town, South Africa, on the flight of your choice. Airport assistance will meet you just outside the aircraft and escort you through immigration, baggage collection, and customs. Transfer to your hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 2 Cape Town City Tour
Explore the "Mother City," Cape Town, South Africa today on a private tour of the city! Visit the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (South Africa's oldest building), Greenmarket Square, the Company Gardens, and Table Mountain. After an exciting morning of discovery you will be dropped off at the Waterfront to take in all the shops and restaurants. Explore the area independently this afternoon.
Day 3 Robben Island
This morning is yours to relax and spend as you would like. Stroll the beaches of Cape Town, go shopping, or explore one of many local attractions in the area. Make your way to the Clock Tower for your 1 PM departure to Robben Island. (You should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time). Upon arrival to the island meet your guide, someone who spent time here during the Apartheid years. Learn about the political climate of the time, witness the harsh conditions prisoners endured, and visit Nelson Mandela's cell. Take the ferry back to the V&A waterfront and enjoy dinner on your own before you make your way back to your hotel.
Day 4 Cape Point & Peninsula Tour
Today you visit the beaches Clifton and Camps Bay. Our first stop will be at the Simonstown Naval Base with a visit to Boulders Beach, the African Penguin breeding colony. You will continue to the Cape of Good Hope National Reserve via Chapman's Peak where you will take a cable car to view where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, as well as fantastic views of False Bay. For lunch, you will stop at the renowned Foodbarn in Noordhoek. Run by the talented Franck Dangereux of La Colombe fame, you’ll enjoy a 4 course set menu with wine pairing. You’ll then head via the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Hout Bay, driving back to Cape Town along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Explore the local area independently for dinner.
Day 5-6 Cape Town to Kruger National Park

This morning you transfer back to the Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger National Park. Kruger is home to cheetahs, leopards, lions, hyenas, zebra, and wild dogs, as well as kudu, eland, sable antelope, and impala. Other possible wildlife sightings on this amazing safari experience include white rhino, elephant, hippo, giraffe, and buffalo! Settle into your room within one of Greater Kruger's private reserves.
Day 7-8 Kruger National Park

Discover private reserves around Kruger National Park at 2 different camps during your exploration, increasing the variety of possible game sightings. Kruger National Park and private land owners adjacent to the park have been working towards the conservation of the Big 5 since the 1950's. Explore by safari vehicle, by foot, or speak to your travel consultant about a hot air balloon ride or other safari options.
*Each day you will have the option to participate in 2 games drives and a bush walk.
Day 9 Depart Kruger National Park
Transfer to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight home, or continue on with an extension to Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, or Mozambique!
