The Royal Malewane

Royal Malewane comprises four lodges and three private villas across the bush. Options include the reimagined Malewane Lodge, family-friendly Waterside, Farmstead, and tented Masiya’s Camp. Private villas include Africa House, the former Biden family homestead, accommodating up to 12 guests. The property also operates a Conservation and Research Centre, while The Royal Portfolio Foundation supports local community projects.

Room Specifications
Accommodation ranges from one- and two-bedroom suites to four- to six-bedroom private villas. Most suites and all villas have private decks and pools, while most bathrooms feature indoor and outdoor showers. Minibars, Wi-Fi, and laundry are included. Selected suites and villas include private safari vehicles, chefs, and hosts. Children aged 10 and older are welcome at all lodges; younger children are accepted at Waterside, the villas, and Royal Suites.

Each lodge has its own dining area, with rates including meals, snacks, selected beverages, and house wines. Malewane Lodge features a bar, observation lounge, library, boutique, and Royal Waters Spa with a heated lap pool, treatment rooms, gym, sauna, and salon. Waterside has Reflections Spa, a hammam, yoga room, family games room, and pool. Farmstead offers a treatment room and gym, while Masiya’s Camp has a communal bar, heated pool, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, and boutique. Airstrip transfers are included, and babysitting is available at extra cost.
