You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and transferred to the kayak departure point in Capachica. From there you will start the 7km stretch to Taquile, an island that was part of the Inca Empire and still retains vestiges of its architecture and customs. Upon arrival, you will hike along the paved path to Taquile´ Main Square. You will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then walk back to the harbor. You will be transferred by motorboat to the peninsula of Capachica and arrive at your hotel in Puno in the afternoon.
This tour is approximately 10 hours. No previous experience required.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
