The modern freighter of Aranui 5 offers a stylish and comfortable journey towards this isolated island. Day 1: Papeete, Tahiti | Embark

Depart this morning from Papeete, Tahiti for an exciting and memorable adventure!

Day 2: Anaa, Tuamotu

Try your hand at traditional javelin throwing and handicrafts. Anaa is also home to a sustainable fishing program.

Day 3: Hikueru, Tuamotu

Arrive this day at Hikueru, Tuamotu.

Day 4: At Sea

Enjoy the amenities of the Aranui 5 as it sails its way to the Gambier Archipelago.

Day 5: Rikitea, Gambier Archipelago

The Gambiers were the cradle of Catholicism in Polynesia. Visit the renovated St Michael’s catholic church where the altar is decorated with the iridescent and captivating mother-of-pearl shell.

Day 6: Oeno Island, Pitcairn

Explore the island of Oena on this day.

Day 7-8: Adamstown (Pitcairn Island)

Walk in the footsteps of the Bounty settlers from the landing at Bounty Bay to Adamstown and Christian’s Cave. Meet the descendants of the mutineers at the curio market and visit the grave of the last surviving mutineer John Adams. You can learn more about the earlier Polynesian civilization as you explore and in the Bounty at the Museum, you can view some artifacts.

Day 9: Aukena, Gambier

Visit Aukena, the home of pristine lagoons which are perfect for black pearls. You can check on the pearl farm, do some sightseeing and enjoy a beach barbecue.

Day 10: At Sea

Enjoy the comfort of your accommodation in Aranui 5 as it sails its way to Amanu, Tuamotu. Sip some drinks at the bar or have fun sunbathing by the pool.

Day 11: Amanu, Tuamotu

Enjoy this idyllic atoll with palm-fringed crystal-clear lagoons and a village visit to see local handicrafts.

Day 12: At Sea

After all the remarkable exploration and adventure, get some soothing  body massage, body scrub or facial at the Aranui 5's spa. Check for some souvenir items at the ship's boutique too.

Day 13: Papeete, Tahiti | Disembark
