By evening time we are situated in our hotel which has a spectacular view of the Bodhi temple. Within a short time we are experiencing the claustrophic conditons of crowded streets and pathways filled with people wearing masks because of the flying dust and pollution. All of this chaos is admist colorful shops and fragrant cuisines beckoning our immediate participation. The Thamel House Restaurant invites us in to experience a Nepalese dinner. As we sit on the plush pillows positoned on the floor we admire the ornately, wood-carved doors Pagoda style of the restaurant. As we drive back to the hotel, we plan on becoming better acquainted with Kathmandu tomorrow.
