I summited Mount Rainier! I snowshoed up the mountain through thick snow and thin snow. But it was also a magical experience! The higher and higher we went, the more beautiful the mountain ranges got. When we got to the top, we were above the clouds!

Belizing It Up!

We went to Belize! We explored the jungle, went canoeing, marveled at ruins and caves, went flats fishing and went snorkeling with a variety of marine wildlife, especially whale sharks! We managed to do it all in two weeks in paradise with the help of our wonderful guide. What an amazing trip to Belize!

Even though our visit to Guatemala was short, it equated to a lifetime of memories that Jens and I will never forget. We walked through textile markets where we saw beautiful vibrant colors, hiked by lakes and volcanos, and witnessed churches, cathedrals and ruins. It was an awesome trip!

We visited Sarapiqui, where we went on a chocolate tour and walked a suspense bridge, Tortuguero, where we road through the rainforest to get to Turtle Beach Lodge, snorkeled with species of fish in Bocas Del Toro, San Blas and more! What an adventure of Panama and Costa Rica!

Birthday Alaska Cruise!

A birthday gift to my mom and me! We decided to celebrate our 30th and 60th birthdays with a small-ship cruise to Alaska. What an amazing adventure! It was the perfect mix of our interests such as kayaking, beautiful scenery such as glaciers and such a fun way to ring in those big birthdays.

Pristine Alaska!!

A beautiful journey into the Inside Passage in Alaska. We explored Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park Headquarters and Thomas Bay. We went kayaking, hiking, whale watching, went on zodiac cruises, explored glaciers and their crystal clean ice and had a grand old time on the MS Endeavour.

As we walked down the aisle of the Continental jet, we could feel it getting hotter and humid, and it really hit us when we walked down the stairs to the tarmac at the Belize International Airport. We were really looking forward to this tropical weather.
