Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
This morning your guide picks you up and takes you south to visit a Pearl Farm. Here find some remarkable pearls and learn about the history of pearl farming on the island. Drive further southward on a dirt road to visit Phu Quoc prison historical site, which was built in 1949-1950 by the French colonists to jail those considered dangerous to the government. Board a boat at the An Thoi Pier for a trip along the southern islands to enjoy snorkeling in the marine reserve at Thom Islet and Dam Ngang Islet. Lunch is served on board with grilled seafood before heading back to the pier. Drive along Sao beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with white sand and crystal water. Take a swim and relax on the beach here before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
Alternative tour November through April - After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel for driving to Duong Dong pier to embark the cruise. You will cruise along the coastline until you arrive at Turtle Island. There are not a lot of larger fish species here but the hard corals that are present are spectacular. The underwater terrain is “canyon like” with some sections deeper than others. You will see a lot of tree branch coral (acropora), whip coral, brain coral, as well as several varieties of soft sponges.
After rejuvenating in the ocean, enjoy a delicious lunch on board before lifting anchor and cruising to Finger Island for an incredible fishing trip. Relax and take in the serene atmosphere as you cast a line out into the ocean. Once you’ve had your fill, hop aboard your boat once again and cruise slowly back to town just in time to catch the spectacular sunset. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of day free at leisure.
Enjoy a free day on the island to arrange local activities as you like. Go snorkeling again, spend time relaxing on the beach or swimming. Try your hand at fishing, go hiking in the hills and forest or visit the local markets. The day is yours to spend as you like.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! Thanks Jamie- you are amazing!!!!

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
