Day 1: Zanzibar | Embark

In the early evening board in Zanzibar at 5:00 pm for a 7:00 pm departure for your epic Indian Ocean crossing bound for Fremantle, West Australia. 

Day 2-19: At Sea

Spend 18 carefree days at leisure as you cross the Indian Ocean from west to east. As dusk falls each day, join your fellow travelers, the captain, and crew for evening drinks and enjoy the delicious simplicity of our cuisine, inspired by the region we depart from and using fresh regional produce. 

Experience the warm company of our renowned Australian hospitality team and take time to socialize with fellow passengers, catch up on book reading or writing or simply relax as the Indian Ocean slips by. This is the ultimate retreat – a detox from modern life with time to relax. You might even find the time to finish a project you’ve been working on or write your first book. You will share the waves with migratory seabirds and marine life along the way. Guest presenters, storytellers, and an extensive onboard program with hands-on practical lessons will be on offer throughout the voyage. This includes a program on traditional and modern Navigation.

A compact en-suite bathroom has a toilet, shower and ample storage. Your private balcony has seating for two from which to view the passing coastal vistas. These staterooms are located on the Explorer deck.
