Denali Backcountry Lodge

Stay in one of 42 remote, cozy cabins at the end of the 92-mile Denali Park Road near Wonder Lake. Enjoy guided activities, meals, and the comfort and privacy of your own cabin as you explore Denali National Park! The comfortable cabins offer heat, private bathrooms, and blackout curtains to ensure a proper night's rest.

Choose from three cabin types. Traditional Cabins offer two extra-long double beds in the lodge's original, more rustic cabins. For an additional price, opt for a Superior Cabin, which is slightly larger and offers a king-size bed or two extra-long double beds. Additionally, Creekside Cabins are another step up, offering a view of Moose Creek, a deck, and your choice of a king bed or two extra-long double beds.

The lodge's restaurant serves a hot buffet breakfast every morning, a packed lunch for those heading out for the day, and a soup and sandwich lunch for those staying at the lodge. In the evenings, enjoy appetizers with family-style dinners.

Activities include guided hikes and interpretive walks explaining the ecology, geology, and history of the park. Watch for wildlife, photograph the beautiful landscape, or opt for mountain biking, gold panning, or fishing. The lodge also offers morning yoga, twice-daily shuttles to nearby Wonder Lake, and massage and spa services for an additional fee at The Nest.
