With the passing of time, the 25 de Mayo Ranch has been transformed into one of the most traditional hotels in El Calafate, keeping its country style and the hospitality of the first settlers. Surrounded by poplars, pine trees and willows, we discovered the ideal place to rest and connect with the far South. Experience the past and the present of a true Patagonian ranch on your Argentina tour.

Services
The hotel has 44 Rooms, 2 Restaurants, a Bar, a Meeting Room, Reading Rooms, Video, Internet, Laundry Service, Boutique and Room Service.

It also offer transfers, excursions, horse rides, shows, a parking lot and bicycles at your service.

With a unique service style, combining freshness with class, the hotel awakens its guests' spontaneity by offering them the possibility of enjoying the 17 acres of park always full of visiting ibises, bustards, lapwings and dunlins and seeing the antique premises, pens, farm and storehouses, remnants of the original activities that took place in the ranch.
They also offer many different and exclusive walks, within the land surrounding the Ranch.

Rooms
44 large rooms and suites overlooking the park combine the style of the typical Patagonian ranches with the comfort of a four stars hotel.

The rooms are equipped with Queen and King Size Beds, Closed-circuit TV, CATV, Telephone, Internet, Safety Deposit Boxes, Laundry Service, Round-the-clock Room Service and Complimentary Details.

Location
Located a 6 blocks from the town centre of Calafate, the Hotel is immersed in a small valley surrounded by trees, at the foot of the Calafate Hill and across the stream with the same name.

This stream belongs to the 25 de Mayo Ranch, of 39500 acres of Patagonian steppe.

Gourmet
The hotel has the contribution of María Barrutia and Flavia Rizzuto, who have renovated its gastronomic proposal providing its restaurant La Brida with a cared international menu and a menu of gaucho inspiration for El Quincho. At the same time, in El Alambique you will find drinks from all over the world to enjoy next to fireplace that is lighted at all times. The dishes conceived by our chef combine scents, flavors and textures to enjoy surrounded by the landscape of indescribable beauty. A novelty: a table in the kitchen to have a first-hand experience of the backstage of a restaurant.

El Alambique Bar
In a warm environment completely lined in wood, accompanied by a melodious piano, you will find a thorough list of malts, a broad selection of grappas, liquors, and a wide variety of international drinks. We invite you to check our new wine cellar.

El Quincho Restaurant
Situated at an end of the hotel park, near the organic kitchen garden and pens, is El Quincho, where you will be able to taste a great variety of meats and salads, vermouth with its indispensable snack, stews in the criollo style, fruits from our kitchen garden and the traditional roasted lamb presented in hand-made tableware, made by the craftsmen of the region, served with regional wines and folkloric music, recreating the traditional popular festivities in an authentic Patagonian environment.

La Brida Restaurant
The cozy decoration, the large windows overlooking an evergreen park and the handmade detail of its crockery make up the ideal environment to enjoy an excellent cuisine, with a tempting and varied wine selection.

Activities
After many years of production, we are convinced that the true field's potential in these parts is not cattle raising, but the guanacos, choiques, foxes, condors, and cougars, along with the fossilized oysters, crabs, and snails that date back over 40 million years old.

Kau Yatun Hotel de Campo invites you to wander around and surprise yourself inside the ranch, enjoying some of the exclusive tours the hotel has to offer to its guests.

Relax. We've got this.
