Day 1: Marigot, Saint Martin, F.W.I. | Embark

Marigot is the main town and capital on the French side of Saint Martin. The city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside cafés and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways, it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find in Europe. At the southern end of town by the harbor is Marina Port la Royale. This area includes elegant stores with the latest in European designer fashion and fine jewelry, all duty and tax-free. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around. Marigot was named the capital during the reign of King Louis XVI, who built Fort St. Louis on a hill near Marigot Bay. Today, that building is the most important in the city. SeaDream anchors off Marigot and offers several yachting land adventures as well as the possibility to play with the toys at the marina.

Day 2: Gustavia, St. Barths, F.W.I.

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Perhaps the most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer the SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from the pier, sparkling beaches, resorts, restaurants, and activities both day and night. Join an optional excursion to discover the island from sea or by land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Or simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off shore.

Day 3: Little Bay, Montserrat

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Prior to the recent volcanic eruptions that commenced in 1995, Montserrat was considered as one of the “Insiders” favorite Caribbean islands. It was also home to producer George Martin’s Air Studios Montserrat recording studio where some of the world’s most famous recording artists, including Eric Clapton, the Little River Band, and Paul McCartney among many others, used to record their albums. Recent history has brought some unfortunate blows to the island ranging from hurricanes (Hugo in 1989) to multiple volcanic eruptions. Yet, in the face of such unfortunate setbacks, Montserrat remains an island worth visiting and its people, as friendly and warm as ever, are trying hard to bring back the economic viability of the island. Just imagine an island where almost two- thirds of its surface space is no longer available to agriculture or habitation; an island whose lovely capital city of Plymouth was destroyed by the volcanic eruptions and mudslides. A population that went from a high of 13,000 inhabitants to as low as 3,000 shortly after the first eruptions. Fortunately, more and more of the former residents are returning to the island and are trying to make a living off tourism once again. Take the time to join an interesting land adventure exploring the unique landscape of Montserrat.

Day 4: Portsmouth, Dominica

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
With nearly 3,000 residents, Portsmouth is the second-largest town in Dominica. SeaDream can either dock alongside the unique wooden pier or lie at anchor in Prince Rupert Bay to offer activities from the marina. A must would be to navigate Indian River with an excursion or explore Cabrits National Park.

Day 5: Grande de Anse, Martinique

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner

Day 6: Port Elizabeth, Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Bequia is the northernmost and largest of the Grenadines, just seven square miles of quiet lagoons, reefs, and long silvery stretches of beach. Among the first things, you may notice the colorful model boats set up on stands around the tiny harbor, representing the island's maritime history. If you have a late call, don’t miss Mac’s Lobster Pizza.

Day 7: Port Elizabeth, Bequia | Tobago Cays | Union Island, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Imagine an intimate cluster of five uninhabited islands, heavenly lagoons full of green turtles, coral reefs, colorful fish and crystal clear waters. This is the setting when SeaDream anchors off the Tobago Keys. Zodiacs whisk guests from the marina to the beautiful beach. There may be some locals selling crafts so remember to bring some dollars. This is an idyllic yachting anchorage, a dream for scuba divers, a paradise for beachcombers, and a film location for the Pirates of the Caribbean, the Tobago Cays and the Tobago Cays Marine Park is one of the world’s most awe-inspiring island destinations.

Union Island, the southernmost island of the Grenadines, is nicknamed the ‘Tahiti of the West Indies’ due to its volcanic silhouette. Among the many restaurants and bars, Happy Island, a man-made island featuring a bar, sits in the middle of Clifton harbor and is a must-see. Mount Taboi, which at 999 feet above sea level, is the highest peak on Union Island. A key feature of the Union Island region is the Tobago Cays National Marine Park. The Tobago Cays are a group of small uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs, where snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming with sea turtles are all favorite pastimes.

Day 8: Mayreau, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
This is one of SeaDream signature Champagne and Caviar Splash destinations in the Grenadines. This particular island is the smallest of the inhabited Islands and has two amazing beaches. Generally, the team on board offers guests a hike to Saltwhistle Bay.

Day 9: Bridgetown, Barbados | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
The island of Barbados includes UNESCO Heritage Sites, excellent beaches and history dating back to 1628. The climate is tropical with constant warm temperatures during the year cooled by light trade winds. Explore the beautiful city of Bridgetown before continuing on your adventures or returning home.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
