Located inside an ancient site surrounded by a historic wall, the Awasi Atacama lodge use to house shepherds and herders. The lodge is located near the center of town with easy access to the church, museum and local shops.
Inspired by Pre-Inca ruins, the recreate adobe structures will transport you into another world.
The round shape and natural building materials (adobe, stone and wood) keep the suites cool in the heat of the day, and warm in the chilly evenings.
Enjoy a luxurious stay complete with fine dining, wine and relaxation. The hotel consists of five circular rooms with private patios and 3 rectangular rooms near another large patio.
There is also a pool area, restaurant, bar and living room area with a fire place. The large open patio area is the perfect place to enjoy the night sky of the Atacama Desert
This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

From the initial booking all the way through the trip, this was by far our favorite trip. Small boat travel is the only way to see a location. The excursions were so much more than I could explain. The locations were remote and awesome.
