Hotel Ancud Petit is a small cozy hotel with thirteen rooms accommodating guests to the Chiloe Island region. The location is prime, located only 20 meters from the modern main square, only 100 meters from the Pacific Ocean and only 28 kilometers from the penguin reserve.
The hotel is housed on the second story of a Yurie, a small shopping center which holds eight local artisan shops, accessed on the second floor lined with local, beautiful restored native woods. The building housing the hotel establishment was built in 1960 and retains architectural lines of the time, adding character and ambiance to your stay.
Experience a warm welcome at the reception, which is equipped with both English and Spanish services as well as a wide range of tourist information to those touring the Big Island of Chiloe.
Wireless internet is available in the common areas of the hotel.
After a restful nights sleep, enjoy the onsite Breakfast buffet, served in the cozy dining room lined with natural local wood finishing. The buffet includes a variety of choices such as breads with a selection of spreads, sweet cakes, yogurts and fruits, cheese and ham. Tea, coffee, milk and juices are available as well.
Hotel Ancud Petit offers guests cozy accommodations in one of their thirteen guest rooms. Rooms measure approximately 19 square meters or smaller. There are four Superior rooms, with modern private baths and comfortable linens. Eleven Standard rooms are also available, nine of which have private bath facilities and two rooms which share a bath, perfect for families or groups traveling together. All guests rooms are fully carpeted, heated, offer plenty of natural light, and include a television with cable services.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
