Enjoy specialized instruction in this most relaxing of activities, and explore the trout and salmon-rich rivers and lakes tucked into Torres del Paine National Park. Day 1: Fly Fishing in Patagonia

Head out from EcoCamp by 4x4 to the source of Serrano River where your fly fishing adventure is about to begin! After arrival, your guides instruct you in the contemplative, yet skillful art of fishing. Let your worries fade away as you cast your line surrounded by the spectacular colors and contours of Torres del Paine.

Throughout the day the guides provide instruction and practical tips specific to you and for the fish you are after, the majestic Chinook Salmon. This princely fish’s numbers soar from December to February – but remember: it’s no small fry! Get ready to work hard to claim yours, as here in the National Park they can reach up to 60lbs! After seven to eight hours’ fishing on Serrano River, return to EcoCamp ready to settle in for the night with dinner and sharing fishing stories.

Day 2: Return Home

  • 1 Breakfast

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
