Take a zodiac out on the Strait of Magellan to Magdalena Island where you will see over 100,000 penguins or hike to the lighthouse through the penguin colony. Enjoy the comic antics of these delightful creatures at close range. This itinerary cannot be booked as a stand-alone tour, but can only be booked in conjunction with a multi-day tour in Chile.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Take a morning zodiac trip from Punta Arenas out in the Strait of Magellan to Magdalena Island, where you will see over 100,000 Magellanic penguins! Spend your time along the shore of the island, or take a walk to the lighthouse located up the winding trail through the penguin colony. Around noon, transfer back to your hotel in Punta Arenas.

Initial deposit is 25%, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 70 days (10 weeks) prior to departure by bank transfer, check or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge
