Bamboo Garden Hotel

The Bamboo Garden Hotel is centrally located in downtown Beijing on the west side of Gulou. Designed in a classic Chinese style with a courtyard, bamboo groves, rockeries, and fountains, the hotel also features elegant decorations in the style of the Ming & Qing Dynasties. Once the private residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, the postal department minister in late Qing Dynasty, a succession of celebrities such as Andehai, Wang Yintai, Mahansan, Dong Biwu, and Kangsheng have also lived at what is now the Bamboo Garden Hotel.
